Wilhelm Thomas Röder is the CEO & founder of Röder TomorrowTechnologies U.G. a company based in Berlin, Germany and the Engineer Architect of selenaCAT. With more than 5 years of experience in the Localization industry as an Engineer, working for Life Sciences in the UK, big players such as LanguageLine UK and Hubspot. With a vast experience collaborating with different tools & vendors out there in the market for years; he brings quite a lot of expertise in Localization and Software Engineering. He is constantly researching and developing new approaches for translation technology in selenaCAT. Closing the gap between linguists and technical people.
For selenaCAT, he has conducted research in over 50 countries, interviewing localization players & translators to
ensure the best quaility during the development phase.

Felipe von Hausen works in the R&D departament for Computational Linguistics constantly performing Research and Studies of our processes to ensure we meet innovation.
Felipe von Hausen is a translator, professor, and academic specializing in linguistics and experimental psycholinguistics. He holds a Master of Arts in Higher Education and a Master of Science in Linguistics, with an emphasis in psycholinguistics. He is currently pursuing his PhD in the Psychology of Language at Humboldt University of Berlin, where he investigates real-time language processing using advanced experimental methodologies. His research focuses on syntactic and lexical processing, the influence of animacy on sentence comprehension, the categorization of emotional words, and the differences in language processing between autistic and neurotypical individuals. He employs techniques such as eye-tracking, electroencephalography (EEG), and statistical and computational analysis models. These approaches allow him to describe how cognitive, affective, and social factors modulate language comprehension and production. In the field of translation studies, Felipe focuses his research on the relationship between artificial intelligence and translation quality. His studies analyze the performance of machine translation (MT) systems and generative translation models (GenAI), comparing them with human translations and evaluating the interaction between programs, quality metrics, and translation practice. This approach seeks to provide evidence on the potential and limitations of emerging technologies, as well as their integration into translator training.

Marta MarĂa Fernández works on the R&D departament as a Terminologist ensuring best aligment with the industry and further research.
Terminologist and localization professional with an extensive
career in the language industry, including not only terminology management but also CAT tool consultancy, localization engineering, and translation. She is currently focused on terminology and currently offers terminology management solutions and consultancy. Her scope ranges from linguistic to technical matters, including solution creation and implementation of terminology management systems, as well as terminology work and termbase’s consolidations. Prior to that, she had carried out CAT tool migrations, defined localization workflows, and led teams in the translation industry. She holds a postgraduate master’s degree in Terminology and a master’s degree in Philosophy.

Kusagra Nehra is our Data Specialist in the R&D over all seeing data processes and ensuring best practices.
Kushagra Nehra is a multidisciplinary professional with over a decade of experience in data analytics, business strategy, and innovation management across global industries. He holds an M.Sc. in Big Data & Business Analytics, an MBA, an LL.B., and a B.Sc. in Biomedical Science, uniquely blending analytical precision with strategic insight.
Throughout his career, Kushagra has worked as a data generator (researcher), data presenter (analyst), and data user (manager) — giving him a comprehensive understanding of how organizations leverage data for decision-making. His expertise spans semiconductors, renewable energy, hydrogen generation, fuel cells, carbon capture, e-commerce, and service delivery.
As New Market Development Manager (Strategy) at Morgan Advanced Materials, he led initiatives in business analytics, product management, and expansion strategy, developing data-backed frameworks for market growth and leading projects worth over $275 million. Previously, at HelloFresh, he bridged finance, marketing, and business intelligence, developing predictive models for customer profitability and leading cross-functional analytics teams.
Kushagra’s leadership experience also includes key roles at Toluna, OMMAX, and GE Capital, where he implemented lean operations, financial planning systems, and master data frameworks.
A believer in the synergy between technology and management, Kushagra drives data-informed innovation, process excellence, and sustainable growth strategies. His professional journey reflects a consistent vision: transforming complex data into meaningful business outcomes that empower strategic decision-making.

Leonardo Retamal is a Full Stack Developer and graduate in Computer Engineering, with a strong academic foundation in Telecommunications, Connectivity, and Networks from INACAP (2017–2020) and a Programming Analysis degree from the Instituto Profesional Los Leones (2021–2024).
He has extensive experience in designing and implementing comprehensive digital solutions, with a focus on developing complex web applications and participating in all stages of the software lifecycle — from analysis and design to implementation and deployment.
Throughout his career, Leonardo has contributed to a wide range of projects, including inventory management systems with multi-warehouse control and full traceability, educational platforms for managing school coexistence with reporting, communication, survey, and complaint modules — all structured by user roles — as well as specialized modules for enterprise systems.
Leonardo combines strong technical expertise in PHP, JavaScript, and modern web technologies with a deep understanding of business needs to deliver solutions that provide real value. His approach emphasizes both technical precision and a user-centered perspective, ensuring a balance between functionality, performance, and usability.
He thrives in multidisciplinary teams under agile methodologies, demonstrating excellent communication, planning, and collaboration skills that enable him to adapt quickly to new challenges and consistently deliver high-quality results.

Fernando LĂłpez Reyes is the Public Relationships for South America continent ensuring international collaboration.
He is a professional English–Spanish translator and founder of Welun Translations, with a specialization in International Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Languages and Literature from the Technological University of Chile (INACAP). He also serves as a Certified Court Translator, officially appointed by the Court of Appeals of Santiago, and is an active member of the Chilean Association of Translators and Interpreters (COTICH).
With nearly a decade of professional experience, Fernando has built a strong portfolio in technical, humanistic, and general translation, working across diverse fields such as defense, government, finance, IT, and industry. His work emphasizes precision, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
He currently serves as an External Consultant for the Employability Council at EATRI, contributing his expertise in translation and linguistic project management to strengthen the link between education and the translation industry. He has also served as an academic and corporate tutor for translation students at institutions including UNIACC, EATRI, and INACAP, mentoring future professionals in translation techniques, terminology management, and CAT tools.
Fernando has complemented his background with a Diploma in International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) from the Pontifical Catholic University of ValparaĂso, and advanced training in computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools, including OmegaT (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya) and SDL Trados Studio 2019 (Pontifical Catholic University of Chile).
Additionally, he volunteers as an English–Spanish translator for Translators Without Borders, supporting international humanitarian and research projects. From 2018 to 2024, he served as Treasurer of COTICH, actively contributing to the professionalization and development of the translation field in Chile.
